Retreats and Programs
Restorative healing retreats for Veterans and First Responders in Hawaii.
Healing Heroes Hawaii creates small group retreat experiences designed to help Veterans and First Responders rest, reconnect, and receive meaningful support in a safe Hawaii setting.
Our retreats are built around whole-person care. Participants are given time to slow down, connect with others who understand service related stress, and experience restorative support for the mind, body, and spirit.
Space away from daily pressure.
Past retreat experiences have included multiple days of structured support, restorative activities, shared meals, integration time, and community connection in Kona, Hawaii. Each retreat is intentionally designed to feel safe, grounded, and personally supportive.
These retreats are not meant to feel clinical, rushed, or overwhelming. They are created to feel human, peaceful, and restorative.

Healing requires trust.
That is why Healing Heroes Hawaii retreats are intentionally designed as small group experiences.
A smaller group setting allows participants to receive personal support, build meaningful connections, and feel less alone in what they are carrying.
The goal is not to force vulnerability. The goal is to create a safe environment where participants can rest, reflect, and connect at their own pace.
Healing does not end when an activity ends.
Healing Heroes Hawaii retreats include time for integration, reflection, and processing. Participants may have the option to connect with support team members, speak with peers, spend time alone, or join group conversations.
This integration time is an important part of helping participants process their experience in a grounded and supportive way.
Hawaii offers a unique environment for renewal.
Healing Heroes Hawaii uses the calming power of the island setting to help participants step away from daily stress and reconnect with themselves.
Retreat activities may include time near the ocean, beach outings, snorkeling, catamaran experiences, meditation, movement, breathwork, and quiet reflection.
These experiences are not simply recreational. They are designed to support connection, calm, presence, and a sense of belonging.

Veterans and First Responders are often expected to keep going no matter what they have seen, carried, or survived.
Many live with stress, trauma, grief, chronic pain, burnout, sleep challenges, emotional exhaustion, or isolation. They are often the first to help others, but the last to ask for help themselves.
Healing Heroes Hawaii exists to give them a place where they can finally pause.
A retreat can offer space to breathe, reflect, reconnect, and receive support without judgment. For some participants, this may be the first time they have felt truly understood in a long time.
Announced as funding allows.
Future Healing Heroes Hawaii retreats will be announced as funding, partnerships, and program planning allow.
Because these experiences are offered free of charge whenever possible, community donations and sponsorships directly help make future retreats available to Veterans and First Responders.
Important Program Note. Healing Heroes Hawaii retreats and programs are supportive wellness experiences. They are not a substitute for emergency medical care, crisis intervention, individualized medical treatment, or mental health treatment.
If you are in immediate danger or crisis, please contact emergency services or contact a crisis support resource right away.
